Philip, a native of Long Island, New York, ventured to Michigan in 1995 to pursue higher education at The University of Michigan, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999 while excelling as a wrestler.
With a drive for success, Philip began his journey in the business world within the mortgage industry. His natural leadership abilities and exceptional business acumen earned him the distinguished role of Executive Vice President at John Adams Mortgage, overseeing an impressive network of forty locations across Michigan, amounting to an annual volume of $600 million.
However, his heart always yearned for entrepreneurship. In 2006, Philip took a leap of faith and joined State Farm Insurance, paving the way for the establishment of his own agency in 2008. Swiftly gaining recognition in the insurance field, Philip recognized the importance of providing tailored services to his clients, leading to the birth of The Phil Klein Insurance Group in 2011.
Fueled by a unique skill set blending management expertise, sales acumen, and an entrepreneurial spirit. The Phil Klein Insurance Group experienced remarkable growth over the years, establishing itself as one of Michigan's fastest-growing insurance agencies.
Beyond the business realm, Philip finds solace on the golf course, indulging in his favorite pastime. Most importantly, he cherishes moments spent with his loving wife, Shayna, and their two beautiful daughters, Brooke and Abby.

Show more Best customer service! I was in a recent car accident and could not find a copy of my insurance policy in the heat of the moment. Before reaching full blown panic, I called the office number and had my proof of insurance in my inbox in minutes. First person who picked up the phone was able to solve my problem then & there 🙂 Panic avoided! While this is a silly example, the team at PKI is always the best, whoever I work with. Great at making sure I have the best coverage and answering all my questions in between.

Show more Update: It has now been several more months and I still have not heard back from them! I did not get the attention I deserved from PKIG! How can you advertise that you do??? How can a company operate like this??? I can't recommend this insurance company to anyone for many reasons. I went to their website for a quote for both home and auto but only received a home quote. I requested a call from the online website and I did not receive a call until about 24 hours later. After talking to the agent he did email a quote for both home and auto but the quote for the home was over $1,100 more than their online website quoted me. I can understand some variance in costs but this is ridiculous. The agent said he would check this and would get back to me the nextday but it has already been Two day's and I have not heard anything. I tried reaching out to the owner and I haven't heard anything from him either. What a big disappointment!!!
